Introduction
By using Kunopilot ("the Service"), you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, these terms and conditions. The Service is operated by Henrique Sousa, established in Portugal. It was previously published as "Bluesky Copilot", and is published on some platforms under the name "Social Media Copilot". All of these names refer to the same service, operated by the same person. The change of name does not change who operates the Service, or any right or obligation under these terms.
Agreement to Terms and Conditions
This Agreement takes effect on the date on which you first use the Service. If you do not agree to it, do not use the Service.
What the Service Does
The Service lets you connect one or more social accounts and use them to compose, schedule and publish your own posts, and to review how those posts performed. It currently supports Bluesky, Meta Threads and X. Which networks are available to you may vary, and we may add or remove a network at any time - including where a network changes its own terms, pricing or API in a way that makes continued support impractical.
Your Accounts on Other Networks
You are responsible for holding the accounts you connect and for complying with the terms of each network you post to, including the Bluesky Terms of Service, the Meta Platform Terms and Threads' terms, and the X Terms of Service and Developer Agreement. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bluesky, Meta Platforms, Inc., or X Corp. A network may suspend, rate-limit or terminate your account for reasons entirely outside our control. If that happens, features that depend on that account will stop working, and we are not liable for the consequences.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only to publish content you have the right to publish, to accounts you control. You may not use it to: post spam, bulk unsolicited content, or content generated to inflate engagement; impersonate any person or organisation, or publish to an account you do not own or are not authorised to operate; publish content that is unlawful, or that breaches the rules of the network you are posting to; circumvent any rate limit, quota or restriction imposed by us or by a connected network; resell access to the Service or share your account with others. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches this section.
AI Features and Your Own API Key
The Service offers optional AI features, including post suggestions grounded in your own posting history, rewriting, and profile insights. You may supply your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. If you do, each request is billed by that provider to your own account with them, and the Service charges you no credits for it. Your key is stored encrypted and is used only to carry out actions you initiate. You are responsible for your own spending with your AI provider, for keeping within their rate limits, and for complying with their terms. The Service also offers an in-app assistant, which can read your own data in the Service, answer questions about it, and suggest changes to your posts and schedule. It never publishes, schedules, cancels or changes anything by itself: it proposes, and you confirm. You may switch on an auto-approve mode, in which it commits reversible changes without asking you each time; even then it will not publish immediately and will not switch on automatic top-up without you confirming. If you do not supply your own key, you may instead run these features on ours, and each request costs credits at the rate shown before you run it. See the Credits section below. Every AI feature also offers the underlying prompt for you to copy and run yourself, at no charge and with no key. AI output is generated by a third-party model and may be inaccurate, unoriginal or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing anything the Service suggests before publishing it. The free demo on our homepage is a limited showcase, capped daily, and may be withdrawn at any time. Anything the assistant suggests is AI output and the paragraph above applies to it. You remain responsible for what is published from your accounts.
Metered Networks
Publishing to some networks costs us money for every post. X in particular charges us per post, and substantially more for a post containing a link. Publishing to those networks costs credits, at a published rate that reflects what it costs us. The rate for every action is shown in the Service before you take the action, and the composer shows the cost of a post as you write it, including when adding a link changes it. We may limit, cap, suspend or withdraw publishing to a metered network, including where a network changes its pricing or terms.
Paid Access
Paid access to the Service is by credits. You buy credits, and spending them is how you use the features that cost us money to provide. What each action costs is published in the Service and shown to you before you take it. Credits cover only what the Service itself provides. They do not include usage of any connected network's API beyond what we publish a rate for, nor any AI provider usage under your own key, which remains yours to supply and pay for. Payments are taken by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the merchant of record and as the seller for the transaction, and which handles payment and any sales tax or VAT due in your country. Your contract for the purchase itself is with Paddle; these terms govern your use of the Service. Some accounts hold an older lifetime plan, bought before credits existed. Those accounts keep what they bought: everything on Bluesky, including scheduling, drafts, publishing, analytics, follower analysis and multiple Bluesky accounts, remains free to them and costs no credits. Features added after that purchase, including other networks and AI on our key, cost credits as they do for everyone. Lifetime plans are no longer sold. If a paid feature is not delivered as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law, including any right of withdrawal.
Credits
A credit is a prepaid allowance to use paid features of the Service. One credit corresponds to one US cent of the price you paid. Credits are not money. They are not currency, not electronic money, not a deposit, and not a claim on us for cash. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another person or account, or used anywhere other than in the Service. Credits are not refundable. Once bought, they may be spent on the Service and nothing else. This does not affect any statutory right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law, including any right of withdrawal, which continues to apply to your purchase. Credits do not expire automatically, and nothing in the Service removes them as time passes. Credits that have been unspent for more than six months may be deemed expired at our discretion. We will tell you before we do this, and the age of your credits is shown to you in the Service so you can see when any of them are approaching that point. What an action costs in credits can change at any time, because what it costs us can change, and has. Any change applies to actions you take after it; work you have already scheduled keeps the price it was quoted at when you scheduled it, and is not repriced. Credits are spent oldest first. When credits are held for scheduled work and that work does not happen - because you deleted it, because publishing failed, or because it missed its scheduled time - the credits are returned to your balance, and the Service tells you when this happens. If your account is closed, your credit balance is not refunded and is not paid out in any form. We keep a record of every credit that enters or leaves your balance, and you can read it in the Service at any time. Some paid features are charged by usage rather than at a fixed price. Asking the in-app assistant a question is one of them: what it costs depends on how much work answering it takes. For these, we show you a maximum before you start, hold that many credits, charge only what was actually used, and return the difference to your balance. You are never charged more than the maximum you were shown. Where usage costs less than one credit, the remainder is carried forward and charged once it adds up to a whole credit. Nothing is rounded up against you, and nothing is discarded.
Automatic Top-Up
Automatic top-up is off unless you switch it on. It is a recurring payment authorisation, and we treat it as one. Before you turn it on, we show you exactly what you are agreeing to: the credit pack that will be bought, its price, the balance that triggers the purchase, how often it can happen, that it continues until you turn it off, and how to turn it off. You agree to those terms specifically, by ticking a box next to them, and we record what you were shown and when. Turning it on is not part of accepting these Terms and cannot happen as a side effect of anything else you do. While it is on, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for the pack you chose, without you being present, each time your balance falls below the threshold you chose. These are the only charges it makes. There are limits on how often it can charge you: a minimum interval between purchases and a maximum number of purchases per day, both shown to you before you agree. If a payment fails repeatedly we switch automatic top-up off and tell you, rather than continuing to attempt it. You can turn it off at any time, in one click, in the same settings page where you turned it on. Cancelling is at least as easy as agreeing was, takes effect immediately, and requires you to speak to nobody. Turning it off does not refund purchases already made, which are subject to the Credits section above. You can change the threshold or the pack at any time. A change is a new authorisation: we show you the new terms and ask you to agree to them again. Every automatic purchase appears in your credit statement in the Service, with the date and the amount, and your payment provider will also send you its own receipt. With automatic top-up on, you can schedule posts costing more credits than your balance currently holds. Credits are charged when each post is published, not when it is scheduled. If the credits are not there at that moment, that post fails and is not published, and we tell you. Scheduling something is not a guarantee that it will publish. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal under Portuguese or EU law, or the protections available to you under the consumer laws of your own country.
Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled posts depend on third-party APIs that can fail, rate-limit or change without notice, and a post may therefore be delayed or fail to publish. You remain responsible for checking that anything time-critical actually published.
Disclaimer
While we strive to provide reliable scheduling, analytics and AI features, we cannot guarantee that the Service will meet all your specific requirements. All express and implied warranties or conditions not stated in this Agreement are excluded and expressly disclaimed to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided 'as is' without any warranty regarding quality or fitness for purpose. We shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss, damage, costs or expenses arising from your use of the Service, including any loss arising from a post that failed to publish, published late, or published in a form you did not intend. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your Content
You keep all rights in the content you create. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, publish it to the accounts you have connected, and process it to deliver the features you use. You are responsible for the content you publish through the Service and for how you choose to use its AI and scheduling features.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account, which deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, or where required to by a connected network or by law. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any unspent credits. We retain a record of your credit balance and the transactions behind it, both because we are required to keep records of payments and because it lets your balance be restored if you return and sign in with the same platform account. The Privacy Policy describes what that record contains.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We are established in Portugal. If something goes wrong, write to us first using the contact details at the end of this page: we would rather fix it than have it escalated, and we answer complaints within 15 working days. As a supplier established in Portugal we make the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) available to you. You can submit a complaint about us there at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt/inicio, and we will respond within the legal deadline. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution body. We are not bound to use any particular one, and we tell you which is competent so that you can choose to. For consumer disputes arising in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, that is CIMARA (Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem da Região dos Açores), based in Ponta Delgada. The full list of Portuguese consumer arbitration centres, with their contact details, is published on the Consumer Portal at https://www.consumidor.gov.pt. None of this takes away your right to go to court, or your right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, if the consumer law of that country gives you that right.
General Terms and Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal, with the courts of the Azores, Portugal having jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to you as a consumer in your country of residence. You acknowledge that no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between you and the Service as a result of your use of it. We may update these terms as the Service evolves; where a change is material we will give notice before it takes effect.
